Semi-independent for 18-65 year-olds. The house is staffed throughout the day and there is a night sleep between the hours of 10pm and 8am. The facilities are domestic, however individual adaptations mean we can also cater for wheelchair users. There are two kitchens and two communal lounges and the vibrant décor and the small permanent staff team give it a homely atmosphere with a really personal feel. We work with residents to support them, through solid and tailored care planning, to achieve their maximum potential and realise their aspirations. There are endless opportunities for social outings and developing personal interests through dynamic and person-centred key-working. We can offer a structured programme of instruction / supervision in daily living skills either aimed at developing the skills to move on into more independent living or enabling the resident to fully participate in the running of their home. Upon arrival at Francis House I was received and welcomed with warmth and kindness that I have never known before. I had a mug of tea and met the staff and residents.![]()
