Searchlight is run by Trustees and a Management Committee who meet bi-monthly. The General Manager and Finance Manager attend these meetings and reports are submitted by all Department Heads.

The Administration Team is headed by the General Manager who has overall control. The Administration Team consists of Finance Department, Human Resources and Client Development.

The three residential buildings are all headed by a House Manager supported by a Deputy.  Each house is allocated staffing levels as required by the CSCI, made up of Senior Support Workers,who head the team on the particular shift, and Support Workers. In addition, each house has Auxiliaries responsible for the cleanliness of the house and who are available to assist with support duties if required. Both Senior Support and Support workers have a role as Key Workers to whom residents are allocated for support with day-to-day living and future development.

Our Day Centre provides a varied range of activities to residents, respite and day care clients. It is staffed by a Day Centre Manager and two Assistants.

We also have a fully staffed Catering Department, headed by our Chef who is supported by two Assistant Chefs and Catering Assistants, providing a choice of healthy and nutritious meals.

Our Maintenance is carried out mainly in-house by a team of three; subcontractors are used for certain aspects for their expertise.

Housekeeping performs a key role within Searchlight, headed by a Housekeeper and Assistant.  All our laundry is processed in-house.
