We are a charity offering a residential, day care and respite centre for adults with physical and/or learning disabilities. We provide quality care with an over-riding emphasis on the personal development of the individual, no matter what their abilities. Everyone – staff and clients alike – contributes to and benefits from the enormous sense of community that exists here.
75th ANNIVERSARY YEAR 2008 marks 75 years since our founder, Miss Muriel Powell MBE, bought with her savings a bungalow next to the old searchlight battery above Newhaven and started a jam-making enterprise with three disabled young men, later turning to handicrafts and chair-caning when war broke out. |
HOW YOU CAN HELP There are many ways you can make a difference to our work. If you can raise funds on our behalf either through your own efforts or by nominating us as a charity within a fundraising event we can guarantee the money will be well spent.
